- Allowance of water passing through fills pool over winter.
- Available in various densities, the cover may allow degrees of fine sediment and sunlight through.
- Opening earlier in season recommended as sunlight can stimulate algae growth. Extra water however allows most homeowners to vacuum sediment out quickly and easily.
- Require anchors to be drilled into decking / grass surround of pool. Recommended to have this part of install done professionally.
- Should a tear occur, beauty of cover is it can be repaired.
- Life span with good care is average of 12 - 15 years.

- Require water tubes/ bags to hold cover over pool
